Areas we serve across Dubai

Dr. Khalid Aletaibi's practice is in Jumeirah, and patients come to it from all over Dubai: from the towers of Downtown and Business Bay, the villas of Umm Suqeim and Al Wasl, the fronds of Palm Jumeirah and the family streets of Al Barsha. This page gathers the practical part for each of those areas: the usual route, roughly how long the drive takes, and where the Metro can help. Dubai Marina, Dubai Hills Estate and Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) have pages of their own with fuller travel guides, and so does Jumeirah, where the practice is. Wherever you are coming from, the care is the same: general, conservative and biomimetic dentistry for all ages, with consultations in English and Arabic. We're here every day from 9am to 9pm, same-day urgent assessment is available within those hours, and there is parking at the practice.

Getting here from across Dubai

Downtown Dubai

Downtown is mostly high-rise living, from the towers along Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard to the streets around Dubai Opera, and patients from here often come for a routine check-up or to have an existing treatment plan reviewed.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 10 to 15 minutes by car from Downtown Dubai via Al Wasl Road or Sheikh Zayed Road, with parking at the practice.

From Downtown Dubai the practice is roughly 10 to 15 minutes by car via Al Wasl Road or Sheikh Zayed Road. The area is well served by the Metro at Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall, though most patients drive, with parking at the practice. When Sheikh Zayed Road is congested, Al Wasl Road is usually the smoother way across to Jumeirah.

Also close by: DIFC, Business Bay, Za'abeel, Sheikh Zayed Road.

Palm Jumeirah

The Palm divides into apartment buildings on the trunk, villas along the fronds and resorts on the crescent, and many of its settled households look for one dentist who can follow the whole family's care over the years.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 25 to 35 minutes by car from Palm Jumeirah outside peak hours, via Sheikh Zayed Road, with parking at the practice.

From Palm Jumeirah the practice is usually about 25 to 35 minutes by car outside peak hours, via Sheikh Zayed Road, once you cross back to the mainland at the trunk. There is no Metro station on the Palm itself, so most residents drive, with parking at the practice; the Palm Monorail links to the tram network at Gateway Station if you prefer not to drive. Allow a little extra time leaving the Palm during weekend afternoons.

Also close by: Al Sufouh, Dubai Marina, Madinat Jumeirah, Umm Suqeim.

Business Bay

Business Bay's office and residential towers line the Dubai Water Canal just south of Downtown, and for people who both live and work here, a mid-morning or early-afternoon appointment between meetings often fits the day well.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 10 minutes by car from Business Bay via Al Wasl Road or Sheikh Zayed Road, with parking at the practice.

From Business Bay the practice is around 10 minutes by car via Al Wasl Road or Sheikh Zayed Road. Business Bay has its own Metro station and the canal-side roads connect the area well, but most patients drive, with parking at the practice. Al Wasl Road tends to avoid the Sheikh Zayed Road bottleneck at rush hour.

Also close by: Downtown Dubai, DIFC, Al Quoz, Za'abeel.

JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence)

JBR's 40 towers stand along The Walk and The Beach, with a footbridge across to Bluewaters Island. Whether you live here or are staying on holiday, same-day urgent assessment is available within opening hours for a broken tooth or sudden toothache.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 25 to 30 minutes by car from JBR outside peak hours, via Sheikh Zayed Road, with parking at the practice.

From JBR the drive to Jumeirah is usually 25 to 30 minutes outside peak hours, mostly along Sheikh Zayed Road; the coast road is an alternative but usually takes longer. JBR is served by the Dubai Tram, but most residents find it simplest to drive, with parking at the practice. Leaving JBR on weekend evenings can be slow, so allow a little extra time.

Also close by: Dubai Marina, Bluewaters Island, Al Sufouh, Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT).

Umm Suqeim

Umm Suqeim's three neighbourhoods run along the coast from Umm Al Sheif Road to the Burj Al Arab and Sunset Beach, and with Jumeirah next door, families here can usually fit parents' and children's check-ups into one short trip.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 10 to 20 minutes by car from Umm Suqeim along Jumeirah Beach Road, with parking at the practice.

Umm Suqeim sits right next to Jumeirah along the coast, so the practice is usually 10 to 20 minutes away along Jumeirah Beach Road or Al Wasl Road, with parking on site. It is one of the closest neighbourhoods to the practice, which makes routine visits for the whole family easy to keep.

Also close by: Jumeirah, Madinat Jumeirah, Al Sufouh, Al Wasl.

Al Wasl

Al Wasl is a residential district between Jumeirah and Business Bay, near Safa Park, and being this close makes treatment that needs several visits, such as replacing a series of older fillings, simpler to fit into ordinary days.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 5 to 10 minutes by car from Al Wasl via Al Wasl Road or Jumeirah Beach Road, with parking at the practice.

Al Wasl runs parallel to the coast just inland from Jumeirah, so the practice is typically 5 to 10 minutes away via Al Wasl Road or Jumeirah Beach Road, with parking on site. Its central position makes it one of the easiest areas to reach the practice from, even at busier times.

Also close by: Jumeirah, Al Safa, City Walk, Downtown Dubai.

DIFC

Around Gate Avenue and the DIFC Courts, working days at the banks and financial firms run long, so patients from here often book a fixed appointment at the start or end of the day and plan any longer treatment around it.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 10 to 15 minutes by car from DIFC via Al Wasl Road or Sheikh Zayed Road, with parking at the practice.

From DIFC the practice is roughly 10 to 15 minutes by car via Al Wasl Road or Sheikh Zayed Road. Al Wasl Road is usually the calmer route when Sheikh Zayed Road is congested.

Also close by: Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Za'abeel, Sheikh Zayed Road.

Al Barsha

Al Barsha runs from Mall of the Emirates and Ski Dubai to the quieter villa streets of Al Barsha 2 and 3, and families here often plan check-ups for parents and children around school hours and weekends.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 20 to 25 minutes by car from Al Barsha outside peak hours, via Sheikh Zayed Road or Umm Suqeim Street, with parking at the practice.

From Al Barsha the drive to Jumeirah is usually 20 to 25 minutes outside peak hours, via Sheikh Zayed Road or Umm Suqeim Street. On weekday mornings and during the school run, Sheikh Zayed Road can be busy, so Umm Suqeim Street is often the calmer route toward the coast.

Also close by: Al Quoz, Umm Suqeim, Dubai Hills Estate, Barsha Heights (Tecom).

City Walk

City Walk is Meraas's walkable district of apartments and pedestrian streets around the Coca-Cola Arena and The Green Planet, and from here the follow-up visits that a course of treatment involves take little time out of the day.

The practice in Jumeirah is about 5 to 10 minutes by car from City Walk via Al Wasl Road, with parking at the practice.

From City Walk the practice is usually only 5 to 10 minutes by car via Al Wasl Road, which runs straight across to Jumeirah. There is no Metro station inside City Walk, so residents drive or take a taxi, with parking available on site. Because the district is so close and the route is short, routine visits are easy to fit around the day, though Al Wasl Road can be a little busier during evening dining hours.
