Sheikh Zayed Road from JLT, or the Red Line and a taxi
JLT sits on the inland side of Sheikh Zayed Road, across from Dubai Marina, so the drive to the practice in Jumeirah is one long run toward the city: roughly 14 to 17 kilometres of motorway, then the final stretch through Al Safa and along Al Wasl Road. Outside peak hours it usually takes about 25 to 30 minutes. At weekday rush hour allow about 40 to 50 minutes, and a little more if you set off around 6pm, when traffic on Dubai's working days peaks. On arrival there is parking at the practice.
Without a car, start from one of JLT's two Red Line stations, DMCC or Sobha Realty, whichever is closer to your cluster. Trains toward Centrepoint reach Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall in eight stops from Sobha Realty or nine from DMCC, with Financial Centre one stop further. Both are less than three kilometres from the practice in a straight line, and because no Metro or tram line runs to it, a short taxi or ride-hailing trip finishes the journey. The tram stop across the footbridge from DMCC serves the Marina, JBR and Al Sufouh rather than Jumeirah, so it does not help with this trip.
Appointments around a DMCC working day
JLT's towers are home to the DMCC Free Zone, and if you work in one of them, the practical question is how a dental visit fits around office hours. A lunch break is tight for anything except a short review, because the round trip alone is close to an hour outside the peaks. A first consultation, which is unhurried and runs 45 to 60 minutes, sits better in a late morning or early afternoon, or on a day off. If your working week leaves Saturday or Sunday open, a weekend appointment takes office hours out of the question altogether.
