Sheikh Zayed Road, the coast road or the Red Line
From Dubai Marina the direct way to the practice in Jumeirah is Sheikh Zayed Road. Depending on where your tower is, you join it at Interchange 5 at the northern end of the Marina or at the junction by JLT further south, follow it toward the city for roughly 14 to 17 kilometres, then leave it for Al Wasl Road and the final stretch through Al Safa into Jumeirah. Outside peak hours that usually takes about 25 to 30 minutes. At weekday rush hour allow about 40 to 50 minutes, bearing in mind that Dubai's evening peak, around 6pm, is normally heavier than the morning one. You can park at the practice when you arrive.
The alternative is the coast road. King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, which many people still call Al Sufouh Road, runs past Dubai Media City and becomes Jumeirah Beach Road at Madinat Jumeirah. It keeps you off the motorway, but its many traffic lights mean it usually takes longer. Without a car, use the Red Line, which runs beside the Marina with Sobha Realty and DMCC stations; the Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lakes Towers tram stops connect to them by footbridge. Ride toward Centrepoint for eight stops to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall or nine to Financial Centre, one more if you board at DMCC. Both stations are less than three kilometres from the practice in a straight line, so a short taxi or ride-hailing trip completes the journey. Door to door it takes longer than driving at quiet times, but it keeps you off Sheikh Zayed Road at rush hour.
Fitting visits around Marina life
Where you work shapes the trip. If your office is in DIFC or Downtown, the practice is about ten minutes from that end of your commute outside peak hours, so an appointment on the way in, or before you drive home, is a short detour rather than a separate journey across the city. If you work closer to home, in Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City or JLT, the visit is a trip of its own, and the time of day matters more than the route.
Dubai's traffic follows a steady weekly rhythm. On weekdays the roads are lighter between about 10am and 1pm and again after 8pm, while traffic peaks around 8am and 6pm. Weekend mornings are lighter still.
